Toei Filming Legend War for Power Rangers

In last month's February Hyper Hobby Issue, There was a section that contains the interview with akeyuki Suzuki, a Toei Executive. In this interview, the upcoming 20th anniversary of Power Rangers was discussed. It confirms that they are filming scenes for a Legend War for Power Rangers?! READ ON...
So, base on what they are currently discussing, there's a high chance they won't be making Goseiger as Next Year's PR series. But than again, this doesn't means that we will be getting Gokaiger for PR instead of Goseiger. So, it's still very much an unconfirmed theory. Other than that, there will be a lot of cutting out some previous sentai teams that weren't PR and Toei is definitely working on some re-shoot for the scene.

Anyways, here's the full interview of the discussion regarding PR 20th Anniversary:
HH: 2012 is also the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, isn’t it.

Suzuki: At first we got an offer from America to do something like “199 Heroes,” but of course Power Rangers started with Zyuranger, so the characters before that don’t exist. “So just get rid of those parts.” (laughs) We can’t do that either, so the discussion became “Let’s just film new footage with the 20 years’ worth that we do need.”

HH: Power Rangers has already been reimported and dubbed with the voices of the actors that played in the Japanese original. That’s very interesting.

Suzuki: Yes, once you get used to it, it’s very interesting. But there’s a cost to getting the actors to dub, so we can’t really do it much.

HH: Lately they have events even in Taiwan. In Asia, it’s not really “Power Rangers,” is it?

Suzuki: I suppose. Originally they would just broadcast the Japanese version in east Asia. They’ve been doing that in Taiwan for 7 years now. It’s not really profitable, but they wanted to try it out, so they did it. It’s gotten an unusually good reaction.

HH: So then, what are the prospects for sentai, including Power Rangers, in 2012?

Suzuki: In America it will be the 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, so they have to put forth a lot of work. In preparation for that, they asked us to “film the parts with the sentai (from Zyuranger on) in Japan.” We’re currently setting up for that.

So, look forward to more updates on the details of this.

I actually think it should be more of a "Tommy arrives morphed, then de-morphs to reveal himself and morphs into all of this past forms to utilize each specific set of powers". Of course, they'd need to explain how the powers were revived... but I have an idea.

If you make Goseiger footage a prequel to the war, which can be easily done by having them be guardians have been sent to earth to prevent a war. Evil would be finding a new powerful leader of evil and recruiting evil to join, in order to take over earth.

Then have the war with new footage and fit the actors in that they get back, then have the Goseiger team give up their powers with the other Rangers. Show the Gokaiger's entrance and disappearance and cut to the rest of the story with them in space... Maybe even after, it could go back to Goseiger, when the powers are returned.

So basically, if we're talking a merger and Dual-Seasons again... Have the first half of Season 1 be 50/50% of Goseiger 1st and Gokaiger 2nd and then, have Season 2 become 50%/50% Gokaiger 1st and Goseiger 2nd (they could destroy traces of the evil army and like a clean-up operation).

After that, you've got Gobusters - which could be set when everything has been rebuilt and the world runs on a greener, more powerful energy source that the Gokaiger team told them about and helped them get from alien planets. Then you have the spy team, who protect the earth after the war as a crime unit.
