The main trio of the series:
- Akiba Red/Akagi Nabuo will be played by Wada Masato, a D-Boys member and also a close friend to Suzuki Hiroki who played as Geki Red.
- Akiba Blue/Aoyagi Mizuki will be played by Hinami Kyoko, a model and makes her first silver-screen debut in "Nanatsu Made wa Kami no Uchi"
- Akiba Yellow/Moegi Yumeria will be played by Ogino Karin, who also played as Bells, the character who asked the "Yes-No" questions in Kamen Rider OOO Wonderful: Shogun & 21 Core Medals
Other Characters are the Professor who gave the Akibarangers their changers, Hakase Hirotsugu(played by Uchida Maya) and Marushina(played by Honoka), the villain of the series.
Here's the changer of the Akibaranger, a figure named MMZ-1 Moe Moe Z-cune that can transform into gun mode, becoming the main weapon for the Akibaranger.

Here is the team's sentai machine called, Mashin'itasha(presumably, Machine E-dasher, judging from it's Romanji).
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger will be a Tokusatsu series that will focused on the otaku culture in Japan, especially in Akihabara, a place considered as a paradise by Otaku's.
The series will be directed by Ryuta Tazaki, who had worked on many Kamen Rider series. The screenplay will be written by Toshihisa Arakawa, who had also wrote for the movie, Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle. The suit and creature designer for the series will be Keiichi Sato, who directed the anime series, Tiger & Bunny and was involved in several popular anime series.
The series will premier on 1st April, 2012, airing on Tokyo MX.

What, seriously. That's one morpher thing I'm definitely NOT buying. It's kinda weird.

"Itasha" in Japanese literally means "painful vehicle", but the context is that it is any vehicle that has anime decals plastered over it, making it "painful to look at" to non-otaku.
