In commemorative of both the 35th Anniversary Super Sentai series and the 30th Anniversary of the Metal Hero series, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs Uchuu Keiji Gavan was premiered on January 2012. Fans were expecting the DVD & Blu-ray releases of the movie, and a collector's pack cover image had surfaced among fans in this vast world of internet! CHECK IT OUT!

The film debuted at #2 on its opening weekend at the Japanese box-office with a gross sales of ¥160,750,000, exceeding the opening sales of 2011's Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs. Shinkenger: Epic on Ginmaku by approximately 14% of the sales.
As mentioned on discussion boards such as 2chan, it is said that the the DVD & Blu-ray rentals will be available on March 9th, 2012. The official released will be on March 21st, 2012. Along with the information, an image of the collector's cover-art was revealed(image on the left).
