Gundam AGE is bound to enter the 2nd Generation after the debut Gundam AGE-1 Sparrow Mode. Here's an official Public release of the Poster preview for the 2nd Generation Arc, where it happen years later.
As seen in the teaser image, it is seen that Flit Asuno and Woolf Eneacle will be in the 2nd Generation, as a higher rank superior for the DIVA ship, and Asemu Asuno will inherit his father's creation. Gundam AGE-2 is the result of upgrades by using the data collected by the AGE System when Flit was still piloting Gundam AGE-1. Asemu is said to be the son of Flit and Emily Amonde(judging from the same blonde Hair that Asemu has).
A number of new characters and mobile suits will be introduced in the 2nd Generation story arc. Aside from that, it is said that storyline will be set between 20-30 years later where they had solve several mysteries about the U.E.'s that is revealed to be a group of heartless super-humans that had supernatural abilities.
It's also earlier said that the manga adaptation of Gundam AGE, entitled "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: First Evolution" had a sequel entitling "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Second Evolution" that will be released in the Newtype ACE issue in December 2011, where the 2nd Generation Story Arc begins.
