Kamen Rider Spirits Anime- A dream never came true

I know that some of you might go, "OMG!~ It's Kamen Rider Spirits Anime!" and seriously went psyched up about it. And a number of you might've seen this. Is this true? READ ON!

Kamen Rider Spirits is the manga adaptation of Ishinomori Shotaro's creation and long running tokusatsu franchise, the KAMEN RIDER. The manga is illustrated by Kenichi Muraeda who have also illustrated a number of doujin(self published books & magazines). The story focuses on the first 10 showa Kamen Riders and had focused more on ZX's back story. Unlike the 10th anniversary short movie, the manga itself amplify a lot of deep story plot on ZX as well as his past. The original manga itself is publicize in 16 volume of tankabon(compiled novel graphics). The manga ended when Magazine Z ceased publication. The manga was later revived as Shin Kamen Rider Spirits on Monthly Shounen Magazine, with storylines that focused more on the first few showa riders rather than ZX alone. The manga is still ongoing till this day.
A few days ago, I saw a post on 2chan that had the first image on top that was posted on one of the topics. Like I said earlier, I really did go, "OMG!~ It's Kamen Rider Spirits Anime!". I try to search for more information and discover the truth behind this very image. It does look like a convincing anime screencaps.
But the truth was unveil in post on HJU dated on September 3rd, 2009.
Sorry to tell you this dude, but this is actually fanart.
Someone mentioned this before: The staff that wrote Kamen Rider Spirits had to sign a contract with Toei that regardless of what happened, they would not merchandise the manga into products or an anime.
But I know how you feel. It does look like the real deal.

It was every fan's dream that never came to be. So, 2 years had past, and Toei take no initiatives nor have the intentions of making the anime. It could've been a great anime since the manga itself is selling really well. I'm just saying my thoughts, since they could've easily bring back previous Showa Rider cast to voice acted as their respective characters and make a top notch anime! But who knows what will come ahead.
Anyway, this is just a random post on the image I saw and on how disappointed I was to find out the truth. So, what do you think about it?

I was disappointed too.

As you mentioned, the manga is selling really well and seeing as how the original cast can voice act their respective parts, it could really work out. The Kamen Rider 40th Anniversary movie this year only featured Ichigo and Nigo as voice overs, so this could really be a great chance for them to shine in this Heisei era.

I see Kamen Rider V3's original actor in Hawaii at least once a year and he was surprised to see that there was a Shin Kamen Rider Spirits manga. I had him autograph the volume where V3 shows up. He really looked happy doing so, and I was happy to get an autograph from him.
