In the same vein title "Movie War" for all Kamen Rider Crossover movies, Movie War Megamax feature the crossover between Kamen Rider Fourze & Kamen Rider OOO and is planned to premiere in theaters December 12th, 2011. Like most of previous crossovers with the same vein title, it will be a 3 part movie, namely Fourze's Story, OOO's Story and the Movie War.
Anyway, here's some news on the movie war part itself. Fourze itself is a commemorative for both the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider franchise and the 50th anniversary of the first spaceflight, several other riders will appear in the series as it will be based on the urban legends of anonymous masked heroes.
As seen above, W made an appearance because according to some info leakers, a good old evil organization from W series was involve in some evil schemes with the Zodiarts switches in Fourze Parts of the movie.
Aside from W, 7 other legend riders, namely Ichigo, Niigo, V3, Riderman, X, Amazon and Stronger will also made an appearance in the movie war section of the movie. They will help both Fourze and OOO fight the organization whom we're familiar with.
As seen in the trailer, 4 people was seen walking in the dark, holding Zodiarts Switches up with white coats. YES! They are none other than Foundation X from Kamen Rider W. Foundation X had kept quite for a whole year in OOO, and suddenly reappears once more in this Movie. What are they up to? Have they been funding the creation of Zodiarts Switches as well?
Anyway, earlier on, we've introduced you to 2 new Movie Riders for Movie War Megamax, but with no further infos on their secret identities. Now, it is revealed who they are and what role will they play in the movie.
Kamen Rider Nadeshiko is played by Erina Mano, J-pop singer associated with Hello! Project, well known for her role as Endou Ryouko in the drama, Death Game Park. She will play as the first schoolgirl Rider in history, Misaki Nadeshiko. She first appears falling from the sky and barely Gentaro catches her.
The mystery of her identity and how she got a Fourze system will cause a
large development in the story.
Nadeshiko's Rider Kick is a reference
to player Homare Sawa's heel kick that won the 2011 FIFA Women's World
Cup Final. Moreover, series producer Hideaki Tsukada confirms that she was named after the soccer team of the same name.
On the other hand, the mysterious Kamen Rider Poseidon is revealed to be played by D-boys D-2 team's Atsushi Arai. A mysterious boy named Miharu appears and transforms into Kamen Rider Poseidon by utilizing the Shark, Whale and the Wolf Herring core medals. His designs and concept is reminiscent to OOO. Who is behind the creation of Poseidon's cores? What is his motivation in becoming a rider?
Though having the similarity, Poseidon doesn't have a large medal-like chest armor design and had a triangular chest armor with the emblem of the respective core medals on it. The Shark motive is seen only on his head and right arm, with the whale seen the other arm and the Wolf herring on the legs. The Wolf Herring core medal also armed Poseidon with a long spear-like weapon that ends with a sharp blade that shapes like the wolf herring motif.
In the movie, Poseidon comes up to Eiji and challenges him to a battle. But without the cores, Eiji can't transformed into OOO, Proto Birth(Akira Date) Fights instead. But Poseidon prove himself to be a worthy and skillful opponent. What will happen next?
