The death of Ankh at the end of the series was planned all along by the series' producer, Naomi Takeba. According to Hyper Hobby's interview, where she and Shu Watanabe(plays Eiji/Kamen Rider OOO) were talking on the series.
She mentioned that Ankh was always destined to end like he did--they considered sealing him in the end, but it didn't work out. They never even discussed keeping him alive. However, turning Eiji into a Greeed was added along the way.
Eiji's grandfather is the Japanese Prime Minister so he uses his
mother's name to avoid being recognized. His older brother is also an
elite politician, Shu, who plays Eiji didn't know Eiji had an older
brother! Is there a chance that his brother might appear as well in the movie?
Shu also express that he actually wanted to do a lot of other things on the set like Action stunts with explosion that he didn't get to do on the show. Takeba said that she'll talk to the writer of Movie War about it. Hopefully we get to see epic action of Eiji and the return of Ankh in Movie War. ^_^
