Another sets of rumors had surface on this vast world of the internet! And why Tatoba becomes OOO's default combo and is the only mix and match combo that produced music during transformation? Ever thought why? I had! Other than why Tatoba is the default form, we also had another epic news of OOO's ultimate combo!
"Why Tatoba had to be the default form? And why it's the only mix and match combo that had a music during transformation?"
That question had been stirring up my mind eversince I last saw the first pure combo to appear on the series, which is Gatakiriba. And eversince that very episode, that same question bother me. WHY?!
Well, I've got the answer. Thanks to a fellow blogger, who posted the rumors on his blog. And so, I deliver you the answers to your question!
Like we all clearly know that, Tatoba is the combination of Taka(hawk) medal, Tora(Tiger) medal and Batta(Grasshopper) medal. My original depiction is that it is the most balance physical stats compare to other combo and pure combo. But there's also other reasons behind these 3 were chosen to be the default combo of OOO.
According to our source, Taka(Hawk), Tora(Tiger) and Batta(Grasshopper) are the living things born before Greeeds were born. As they are the "ancestors" for the Bird, Cat and Insect animal lineage. o defeat and handle the Greeeds, the inventor or creator of Kamen Rider OOO found out the advantages ability and skills of TaToBa. They want to make reform Tatoba by using Core Medals. And because the person who transforms into OOO is a human, the full potential and abilities of the core medals cannot be shown.
Another rumored statement had surface aside from why Tatoba is the default combo, is the suppose ultimate form of OOO. Putoterano combo isn't the ultimate and final combo of OOO but there's another combo that requires a powered up item, which is a sword and form OOO into the TatobaRing(romanized as TotobaRingu) combo. Based on the description for the combo, it will be an upgraded form of Tatoba Combo. The powered up item is said to be sword(not medaljalibur!) that can only be wield by OOO in tatoba combo.

After many trial and error, the scientists that created OOO found out that Batta (grasshopper) and humans are not adaptive. Therefore they used Baringu, which are living things that were born at the same time with Greeeds, to form the Ultimate Combo. Finally, a combo that is worthy of defeating ancient living creatures(points at the greeeds).
Aside from rumors of the powered up utility sword that forms the TatobaRing combo, another source states that it's a round ring thingy that can be attached to the belt and had slots to insert more core medals(similar to Taja Spinners function) and delivers another type of attack. The detachable buckle of the OOO driver serves as the port for the TatobaRing utility item.
