As you are aware that this is not the popular Metabee that we know. But he is the protagonist of the latest Japanese release Medarot DS game, named Gun-Nose(I had no idea why it is named that way).
Here's a little info on Medarot DS before we go further into the infos on the Kotobukiya Model kit itself.
The game is considered as the sequel to the Gameboy Advance series with newer character designed and new versions and designs of all Medabots in the series. There will be two versions, Kabuto and Kuwagata, where the version decides the player's starting Medabot. In the Kabuto version, the player gets the rhinoceros beetle-type Gun-Nose, who specializes in shooting attacks. The story revolves on the boy named Azuma Amakura, who somehow is introduced to the world of robattling with a KBT-type Medabot. For doing so, he is given to a cellphone where he can install an application called the Medarotch, known in English as Medawatch, which can hold information about his Medabot. These special cellphones, though, are developed by four different companies.
Enough of the whole story, let's get back to our track on the main topic.
Let's have a good look at the Model Kit, Gun-Nose.
Kotobukiya brings the Medarot protagonist Gun-Nose to their pla-kit line.
Comes with weapon effect parts, bullet shooting gimmick, six dialog parts and the opening to attach a medal on its back to add some playability to the kit.
The parts are mutually interchangeable with other Medarot Pla-kit series to build your own Medarot.
Comes with four variations of painted Face visor parts.
Molded in multiple colors to look close to the coloring of the original show just by assembling.
The Model kit will be release late April 2011. It will cost 3,000yen(tax included). Online stores are now starting to receive preoders for this model kit recently, so do grab it while you can.
