Get to know your favourite Kamen Rider: info on the OOO medals.

Here's a "Get to know your Kamen Rider better" post for you guys. As Kamen Rider fans, we should at least know a little side info of the current riders. So, it's about Kamen Rider OOO. In the series, there's one main asset that Kamen Rider OOO is based on, medals and coins.

Let's get to see deeper info of the OOO medals.

 Eiji(the protoganist of the series) inserts three Core Medals into the OOO Driver belt, scans them with the O Scanner, and then holds the O Scanner up to his chest, he transforms into Kamen Rider OOO. OO has multiple combinations of forms he can access to are referred to as Combos. Each aspect of a Combo gives OOO different powers and weaknesses.

The O Medals (オーメダル) are mystical coins that are at the center of Kamen Rider OOO's powers. There are two different kinds of O Medals: the Core Medals and the Cell Medals.
 Core Medal
The colorful Core Medals (コアメダル) are the O Medals that allow Kamen Rider OOO to transform and change between his various Combos. These O Medals are intended to make up the cores of the Greeed, but Anku stole several of them during their reawakening. Each Greeed has a specific color that their Core Medals come in. For example, Anku's Taka Medal is red, while Uva's Medals are shades of green.
Info on the abilities of current available medals of OOO:

• Taka Medal (タカメダル): The red Taka Medal allows Kamen Rider OOO to use the Taka Head (タカヘッド), allowing him to see far distances.
• Tora Medal (トラメダル): The yellow Tora Medal allows Kamen Rider OOO to use the Tora Arms (トラアーム),arming him with the Tora Claw (トラクロー)gauntlets.
• Kamakiri Medal (カマキリメダル): The green Kamakiri Medal allows Kamen Rider OOO to use the Kamakiri Arms (カマキリアーム ),  arming him with arm blades called the Kamakiri Swords (カマキリソード).
• Batta Medal (バッタメダル): The green Batta Medal allows Kamen Rider OOO to use the Batta Legs (バッタレッグ), allowing him to jump and kick with great strength.

The silver Cell Medals (セルメダル) also come from the Greeed, but also make up the bodies of the Yummy. These Medals are a manifestation of human desire. While the Greeed were sealed away, the Kougami Foundation studied and gathered the Cell Medals, incorporating them in their Ride Vendor, Medajalibur, and Candroid technology.
