For your info, Xros is not mentioned as X-ros, but Cross. The replace the C with an X. So, it's Xros.

Three and a quarter years after the end of the fifth season, the new series was confirmed by Bandai. The official name of the series was revealed in the June issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine. Among the Digimon to be included in this new series are Shoutmon (the main character's partner), Dorurumon, Varistormon, Greymon, Monitormon, and Shoutmon x4.Early pictures demonstrate that the character designs in Xros Wars will be like the first four seasons than the ones seen in Data Squad, with the main character wearing a pair of goggles also similar to the first four seasons, and which were absent in the fifth. The premiere of this new series will coincide with a series of straps that will be sold in capsule toy vending machines by the end of July.

Info on Digimon Xros wars Characters

Taiki Kudo,(voice acted by Minami Takayama) the main character of the series, Taiki is an upbeat grade 7 boy who helps anyone in need. His Digimon partner, Shoutmon (Voice acted by Chika Sakamoto) possesses the ability of Digivolution by combining with other Digimon through a process called "DigiCross". He is the leader of Team Xros Heart. Shoutmon's evolved form is known as Shoutmonx2 and Shoutmonx4.

 Akari Hinomoto (voice acted by Ryoko Shiraishi) Redhead female character, Taiki's junior classmate by a year. She supports Taiki no matter what. Her Digimon partner, Dorurumon (voice acted by Takahiro Sakurai) can form the lower body and right shoulder of Shoutmonx4 or convert into the Doruru Cannon. Dorurumon is the Wolf-like digimon.

Zenjirou Tsurugi(voice acted by Daisuke Kishio), Taiki's classmate and constant rival. He is a practitioner of kendo and hates complicating matters. His Digimon partner, Ballistamon(currently, no news on the voice actor of this Digimon) an form the upper body, left shoulder and arms of Shoutmonx4 or into the body of Shoutmonx2.

Other Digimons,

• Starmon: A small, star-shaped Digimon with sunglasses. Forms the hilt of the Star Sword that can be used by Shoutmon or Shoutmonx4.
• Pickmon: A large number of small Digimon that accompany the group. Four Pickmon form the blade of the Star Sword.  A variant of Pickmon that are silver in coloration and wear sunglasses.
• Tactimon: A cute pink rabbit Digimon.
• Sparrowmon: A very smart red Digimon shaped like a bongo who wields two drumsticks. And will be the Mascot for the upcoming Xros War Cardass arcade.

Other Characters,

Team Blue Flare

• Kiriha Aonuma (Takeshi Kusao): A blond male warlord who conquers others by coldly eliminating them. He leads Team Blue Flare and commands Greymon.
• Greymon: Kiriha's partner. Blue in color as opposed to Greymon's standard orange color scheme.
• MailBirdramon, A horde of small, blue raptor-esque Digimon.

Team Twilight

• Nene Amano (Houko Kuwashima): A cute girl with brown hair in a ponytail who leads this mysterious team. She is searching for a strong soldier for reasons unknown.
• Monitormon (Yuuko Maruyama)
• DarkKnightmon: The combined form of two mysterious Digimon.
